Ainsleys

Reason for annoyance:

"Why do their pasties have to be hotter than the Sun?"

by Howie Ratating

About Ainsleys:

It's not the quality or variety of flavors of food available in Ainsleys that I have a problem with. In fact the sandwiches, sausage rolls and pasties are both yummy and delicious. But why or why or why do their god dam pasties have to be so chuffing hot?!

I think you could literally get first degree burns from the contents of their chicken pasties. You either end up having to use the "nibble blow" technique (not a youfamism) or wait for 3 hours for it to drop below 8,000 degrees.

The opposite end of the scale of heat is Greggs, theirs are always too cold .... oh..... sounds like there may be a gap in the market, I'm off to see if I can get on Dragons Den with my idea of a pasty shop that sells pasties at the optimum temperature.

FACT: Ainsleys is more irritating than Jo Brand but less irritating than iPhone

You may also find People Eating in the Cinema , KFC and Fast Food Restaurants irritating.

I once saw a bus get so irritated with Ainsleys that it drove straight into the shopfront! Although maybe it just just desperate for a Cornish pasty

Don't overlook the fact that Ainsley's is much more expensive than Gregg's, for a not altogether better product. I agree that Ainsley's pasties are hot, but not too hot. Nothing worse than a cold soggy pasty.
