Everything she touched turned to TV gold, and we all loved her unique style. But now, hasn’t the shouting and the smug little asides to the camera become just a bit, well, ordinary? And hasn’t the love affair she has with all things Big Brother become a bit too ‘in the past’. Personally, I really liked the way she used to put down the more self-promoting BB housemates, but now as we’re on the verge of what will surely be the last ever series of this slowly-deflating balloon, doesn’t she just seem to be a woman who shouts at the camera a lot?
In this new series I want her to stop being so self-congratulatory about the show and the odious contestants, and just for once give them a little taste of just how ridiculous they, and the show, have become. It’s time Davina moved on to something else… how about the shipping forecast for Swiss radio? FACT: Davina McCall is more irritating than Jordan (Katie Price) but less irritating than Imported botted water You may also find Big Brother , Jade Goody , Ainsley Harriott , Linda Barker and Jeremy Clarkson irritating.
