About Ewan McGregor:

Ostensibly on a challenging bike-ride across the world's most challenging terrain on behalf of charity, McGregor and his dour mate, Charlie Boreman are effectively just on a very late gap-year.

Despite being followed by an entourage to put Jennifer Lopez to shame, we're expected to believe they're "roughing it" around - many of their close shaves evidently caused by their own immense stupidity.

Perhaps the most annoying thing about their false adverture is that upon arriving at stunning locations and breathtaking landscapes, they offer the viewer no greater insight than : "waaaaaah. that's amazing!"
