Gordon Brown

Reason for annoyance:

Bring back the 10p tax band you moron!

by Howie Ratating

About Gordon Brown:

He didn't used to be able to find any fun in anything. That's because he's a dour Presbyterian who hates anything that doesn't involve oatcakes and hard labour. But his misery consultants have come up with a solution: he must smile! He must show that the serious business of bailing out banks is F-U-N! And we don't mean 'F the UN', like some other Labour Prime Ministers that we could mention!

So smile he does. Sadly, he smiles like a serial killer! Not just any serial killer, but a serial killer peering through the window of the microwave at a rotating bowl of puppies! But it's OK, because ECONOMY IS SERIOUS BUSINESS.

FACT: Gordon Brown is more irritating than Gordon Ramsey but less irritating than 4x4 drivers

You may also find Alistair Darling , Gordon Ramsey , Boris Johnson , Howard (from Halifax adverts) and Piers Morgan irritating.

Enlightened one

He sold the UK's gold at a 20 year low, he destroyed pensions by changing tax laws, diverting investors to "buy to let". This in turn inflated house prices to the point of Northern Rock, which was only partly his fault, as there were also culprits in the US subprime market I admit, but the Gord giveth tax breaks to the rich and the Gord taketh away the 10p tax band, and hates young working taxpayers if they are single, as he only pays tax credits to families, only cares about the fuel bills of families and only gives this impression when he caused the inflation in the first place by splashing government cash into the economy to "help" the NHS, where the funds ended up in the hands of private businesses and banks. He is almost solely responsible for the disgusting state of the UK at present. Why does he frown? It is because he is a puppet of those who really make the rules, but that's another story.

Actually, I'd rather he didn't bring back the 10p band, 'cos I am richer now.
