Imported botted water

Reason for annoyance:

"It's the most wasteful product imaginable"

by Mercool McCaber

About Imported botted water:

Water comes from the tap. Ok, it's not the cheapest since it got sold off, but it's still literally tens of thousands times cheaper than plastic bottles routinely shipped in from France on the back of quite dubious marketing nonsense such as 'live young' (it won't make you younger you wrinkled old scuzzbucket) and 'fills you with volcanicity' (that does that even mean?)

Now I don't have a problem with bottled water per se, it's convenient, and I like convenience. But is it really necessary to ship it half way across Europe when we have perfectly drinkable varieties of our own in the UK?

A certain French water is offering 10 litres of potable water to communities in Africa for every 1 litre of water they ship across to the UK for sale. Doesn't really stand up to much scrutiny that!

And why the hell does this water, supposedly a pure product, have best before dates on the bottles?

FACT: Imported botted water is more irritating than Facebook but less irritating than Telesales

You may also find Synchronised Diving and The French irritating.

It has a best before date because it has much higher levels of bacteria than tap water....
