In a bid to increase the validity of votes cast, How Irritating dot com is pleased to announce the launch of our very own AMVDS (TM). The Automatic Multiple Votes Detection System aims to reduce the amount of fraudulent votes cast and will help build confidence for the people with concerns over vote fixing.

We will still monitor the system manually for fraudulent votes as normal. If your vote is not cast due to the system and you feel your vote is actually valid then please send an email to webmaster@howirritating.com detailing when you voted, what you voted for and whether you voted yes or no and we will investigate this for you.

Add2win is now available. This is our incentive to try to increase the number of quality entries added to our database. The process is quite simple, you add an irritant as via the add page. You need to ensure you have selected 'Yes' on the question about entering the irritant in to Add2win. If this is set to no the irritant will not be entered. Then, providing the irritant is approved by our moderators, that's it. Just sit back had hope people vote for your irritant during the first month.... if your entries is top of the Add2win chart at the end of the month it was added we will pay you £20. Simple.

An absolute outrage, we at HI cannot believe that Davina came top of our chart, personally I think she is cool and would love to have a beer with her. In fact that is what she has won, the chance to have have a beer with me and discuss how she feels about been voted the most irritating thing for July 2008.
