N-Power

Reason for annoyance:

"Everyone knows they slam customers onto contracts without telling them what they are signing, don't bother responding to customer complaints and have some of the highest charges in the country."

by Andy

About N-Power:

German-owned NPower was recently exposed by a Sunday newspaper for using rogue tactics to 'trick' customers into signing up from rivals. For existing customers, service is piss-poor, with over-worked call centres routinely ignoring customers' genuine grievances. NPower cuts off twice as many customers as its nearest rival, and has the greatest number of complaints made against it to the industry regulator, Energywatch. Recently, NPower increased the prices it charges its customers by 12.7% for electricity and 17.2% for gas blaming higher wholesale costs. Such stinging increases were not apparent in their more highly-regulated home market of Germany.

FACT: N-Power is more irritating than Talk Talk but less irritating than Umbrellas

You may also find Orange , Ikea , Talk Talk , Total and Simon Cowell irritating.

How come these charlatans are not at number one in your chart?

I believe N-Power staff must be voting themselves down. There can be no way on God's fine Earth that they are not the most irritating, useless, patronising and generally odious company that people have the extreme mis-fortune to deal with.

They suck.

I see that N-Power have amusingly sent one of their customers a bill for £90 million pounds.
