Smoking
Reason for annoyance:"Smoking kills about 106,000 people in the UK each year" by Ian About Smoking:Ok smoking kills about 106,000 people in the UK each year. 'Thats terrible' I hear you cry. But is it? These people choose to smoke, yes they may be addicted but it is possible to stop so if you don't want to die early stop, thats fine.
However if you wish to carry on smoking and die early this should also be fine. Especially as this could help with the pensions crisis. An article by a BBC journalist on the topic of the pensions crisis says 'The underlying reason is that medical advances over the last few decades have greatly prolonged our life span, forcing the pensions industry to support a greater number of pensioners for longer periods' , the solution is simple. Carry on smoking and die earlier, that way there will be less people to pay a pension to. Sorted. FACT: Smoking is more irritating than The Weather (UK) but less irritating than Radio 4 You may also find The Smoking Ban and Mondays irritating.
