About The Boat Race:

This has to be the dullest sporting event in the British calendar. Two teams of upper-class, non-academic, privileged bodybuilders scooting down the river as fast as they can; it’s hardly the FA Cup Final, is it? It would be much more interesting if they allowed other teams into it, like prison crews, or inner city comprehensive schools. Or they could allow throwing objects at the other boat, or mooning the opposition. Better still, why not release some crocodiles in the river first, then give both boats a slow leak and see how fast they go then. How brilliant would that be?

FACT: The Boat Race is more irritating than Peter Andre but less irritating than N-Power
