Some people, usually old ones, seem to think they must be held at just the right height to poke everyone else in the eye. These people are a menace to our pavements, and should be rounded up, imprisoned and poked in the eyes until they beg for forgiveness. I propose that umbrella ownership should only be permitted when people have passed an umbrella test. Then, whenever they poke someone they should be given three points and a £60 fine. When they get to 12 points, take the licence away and throw the inconsiderate gits in jail for ever. FACT: Umbrellas are more irritating than Old Men in Thongs but less irritating than The Boat Race You may also find The Weather (UK) and Facebook irritating.
