William Rees-Mogg

Reason for annoyance:

"He is up there with Pret A Manger and Ikea in believing he knows better than I do."

by Fergus McFurious

About William Rees-Mogg:

Ridiculous old giffer still churning out vapid opinions in the Times, week after week. It seems Rees-Mogg is so sure of his (failing) cognitive abilities that he doesn't bother researching any of his articles meaning the basis of his argument is frequently flawed and at times stultifyingly ill-informed. Take a look on anything he has written this year that touches on anything mildly technical (especially with regard to public-sector contracts) for numerous examples. Jobs for life are a nice idea, but it would be wise of the Times to be rid of Rees-Mogg before he babbles any more muck onto their pages, or indeed croaks.

FACT: William Rees-Mogg is more irritating than Umbrellas but less irritating than Ironing

You may also find Piers Morgan irritating.
